About CombiBoiler.net: an independent boiler guide

An independent guide to combi and other boilers in the UK: what each type and model costs fitted, how to choose one, and how to find a good Gas Safe installer.

A home desk by a window, with a radiator below and a boiler flue on the outside wall.

Most boiler websites belong to a company that sells them, so none of them shows you the price. We do. Every product on this site shows what it typically costs fitted, including VAT, with the range most people pay and the things that push a quote up or down.

We don't make or fit boilers. That lets us compare one make with another, or a national installer with a local Gas Safe engineer, without a reason to prefer one.

Where the numbers come from

Guide prices are compiled from published UK price guides and trade sources, each one cited on the page it supports. They are indicative ranges, not quotations, and they are rounded so that nobody mistakes them for a quote. Regional prices scale the UK figure by local labour rates. Our pricing methodology sets out how all of it is put together.

Who writes it

Michelle T edits the guides and checks the price data. Every page carries a byline and a last-reviewed date.

How this boiler guide makes money

The site is published by Leads Do Work Ltd, which runs the quote service on it. When you request quotes, installers who cover your area pay us for the introduction, and some pages carry adverts. You pay nothing and you are under no obligation to accept any quote. Neither has any bearing on the prices we publish or the advice we give: see how we make money.

If we get something wrong

Tell us. The report a price form comes straight to us, and a report from someone who has just had the work done is the most useful thing we receive.
