Combi Boiler Information :- Combi Boiler Spare Part

A combi (or combination boiler) is a compact and highly efficient unit giving all the heating and hot water you need, with significant savings on running and installation costs. Combi boilers now account for 50% of the domestic boilers installed in Great Britain every year.

Advantages:

· Water is heated as you use it thus you can save considerably on domestic heating bills.
· No need for a tank (or water cistern) in the loft to store water (so no risk of freezing or flooding).
· There is also no need for a cylinder or the various connecting pipework found with other boilers (saves space and money).
· Excellent water pressure for showers (also hot and cold water at all outlets).

Disadvantages:

· Higher system pressure which may seek out leaks.
· No tank so no extra water in emergencies.

A condensing combi boiler is more efficient due to its ability to extract more heat from the flue gases normally lost to the environment through the flue system.

Energy Saving Tip: Turn off the TV, VCR, stereo or radio when no one is watching or listening.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

New Government regulations (Part L) require that from the 1st of April 2005 all new boiler installations must be of the 'high efficiency' condensing type. There are very few exceptions to this law.
