A combination boiler (or combi for short) is a heating unit that can normally be wall mounted and does not require the tank, water cylinder and connecting pipework found in traditional water heating systems. It is easy to install and is highly efficient and because of this it now accounts for 50% of domestic boilers fitted every year in Great Britain.

A combination boiler has many advantages over more traditional forms of water heating. Most notably it can save a great deal of money as well as space.

A combi boiler heats water as and when it uses it which means that there is no need for a tank (which means no risk of freezing or flooding). As you are not constantly heating water as the tank needs refilling you can reduce your fuel bill quite substantially.
