Worcester boilers scoop the top awards

A Which? survey has labelled the Worcester Bosch boiler as the best available, when taking into account reliability and service.

It’s these two factors that are seen as the ‘must have’ for any homeowner wanting to have a new boiler installed.

It was a good day all round for Worcester, who were not only awarded top spot, but also earned a Best Buy accolade for their Greenstar condensing boilers. The gas fired boiler was top dog for customer satisfaction.

Not only is it the Worcester boilers that have been praised by customers, but also the service contract. This was rated number one too.

This took into account a number of factors including response time for repairs, customer service, price and value for money.

It was the most popular boiler manufacturer with a third of those surveyed picking Worcester Bosch as their preferred supplier.

Martyn Bridges, director of marketing and technical support for Worcester Bosch, says that this feedback from customers is fantastic.

He said: “We are heading into the colder months now and people will rely on their boilers and heating system more and more so need to know they are choosing a product that will deliver.

“The reliability and efficiency of our products, and servicing and customer satisfaction is something we are extremely proud of and have invested heavily in.”

After the results, Worcester Bosch announced that they’ve extended the guarantee on Greenstar boilers. Customers will have a five-year guarantee on parts and services, but the new gas boiler needs to be installed by the end of December.

New boilers for the winter season are highly recommended as they’ll lower your fuel bills and save you money. This is especially important after all the major energy suppliers raised their gas and electricity prices.
