Combi Boiler Information – Ariston Condensing Combi BoilerWhat is a Combination Boiler? Combination boilers or "Combis" are an attractive form of heating because unlike conventional vented heating systems, they do away with the need for the hot water cylinder in the airing cupboard, and also the large cold water cistern (tank) in the loft. The Combi boiler heats what as and when you use it saving money on hot water costs which can account for as much as 60% of your domestic fuel bills. All the major components are housed in one unit which makes them very convenient to the installer. As they can save so much space they are especially suitable for smaller households. A combi also supplies hot water at mains pressure, giving you exhilarating power showering without the need for a pump. Why Condensing? A condensing combi boiler is more efficient due to its ability to extract more heat from the flue gases normally lost to the environment through the flue system.
